Dialogue [Speaker: Indago von Plume, Type: Fullscreen]:
“Unsafe!? I should have you know the woodlings were perfectly peaceful folks up until, well, now. I should know as I am an expert on the subject. Truly one of the continent's most fascinating species. Did you know-”
Dialogue [Speaker: Spark, Type: Fullscreen]:
“Yeah, yeah, yeah, have you seen a shardy glowy thingy by any chance?”
Dialogue [Speaker: Indago von Plume, Type: Fullscreen]:
“[slightly offended at being interrupted] I may have seen an object that fits that description, and I may know the destination of whom carries it.”
Dialogue [Speaker: Lev, Type: Fullscreen]:
“Great! Will you tell us where it is?”
Dialogue [Speaker: Indago von Plume, Type: Fullscreen]:
“Amm… Tell you what, as I find myself in need of protection we may come to a quid-pro-quo. That means a deal.”
Dialogue [Speaker: Spark, Type: Fullscreen]:
“[angry] Why you-”
Dialogue [Speaker: Lev, Type: Fullscreen]:
“What do you have in mind?”
Dialogue [Speaker: Indago von Plume, Type: Fullscreen]:
“You shall protect my body, heart, and soul with your life while I guide you to whom you seek. We are going the same way anyhow.”

“Agreed.”

“Well, what now?”
Dialogue [Speaker: Indago von Plume, Type: Small]:
“You either get a kind hearted woodling to open the way forward or lean into your barbaric talents and fight the guardian.”
Dialogue [Speaker: Vork, Type: Small]:
“No, I won’t help!”
Part of the gate shifts and transforms into the guardian of the gate. It wakes up and attacks the heroes.
Objective 5: “Defeat the Guardian.”

Dialogue [Speaker: Indago von Plume, Type: Small]:
“You should count to 3 before dodging an attack.”
Dialogue [Speaker: Indago von Plume, Type: Small]:

After the fight is over, we trigger this dialogue:
Dialogue [Speaker: Indago von Plume, Type: Small]:
“Praise Sol I was here, I don’t see how you could have won without me.”
Dialogue [Speaker: Spark, Type: Small]:
“Can we just tie him to a tree and leave him?”
Dialogue [Speaker: Zerestia, Type: Fullscreen]:
“No, my heart tells me you will need him on the road ahead.”
